A little bit of fresh snow that will help in some area and some places; so all trails were groomed in our system before the storm, and right now both groomers are on the trails. The #1 John Deere is in the upper block, doing 19 W, 308,19/22, 22, 301, and the #2 New Holland is on the lower block doing 19 E, 304 Danny’s, and 310 Hydro line. In the morning, when they come back, the #1 will go back to the upper block to make the opposite way that we did, for the second pass and do also the trails 303 and 307. Tomorrow night, the #2 New Holland, will redo the lower block
we did on Tuesday with a demo tractor with Soucy track and a test drag SNO PAC ,that work very well; so some operator and director had a chance to try (we play with) on the trail for 16 hours and at the same time we repaired some area that really needed to be fixed (grant brook area)

We had lots of traffic for the last 2 days and nice weather for sledding; we’ve seen lots of visitors from, N/S, P E I, and Quebec. Good for our local sponsors, and thanks to support the Chaleur snowmobile club #4. We’ve groomed in the last 24 hours; the 19 E, from Host (twice) to the clubhouse and 19 up to 308, 19/22 and 301. Now the plan is, tonight back to the Host 19 E (lower block), 304 Danny’s, 310 and do 19 up all the way to 301, Sugar Shack and 19/22.9 March, 2023 at 4:00 PM
Finally, the New Holland #2 groomer, is ready. So today, we will switch drags (Mogle Master) will be installed on the New Holland and tonight, it will be on the trail (lower block) 19 E, down to the Host, all the way and to 304 Danny’s. The other drag; the hitch part is at (usifab welding shop) right now. Been working on, and should be ready late tonight; so right after both groomers will be on the trail.

Good day snowmobilers; all trails were groomed over the past 24 hrs; trail 19, also 304,310,307,308,19/22 and 301; but with the strong wind we had overnight, the operator said there some spots (big drifts in the open area) that will need to be redone. So, that is the plan for today, especially on the upper block 19 and 301 trail. If you are sledding in that area; be careful.

Well, we had a bit of a rough time to keep the groomer on the trails. The #2 New Holland; the pump arrived with all the parts needed for repairs; but we still have trouble with it, so the unit still down. Technician with his computer, said it looks like the problem is with the fuel rail; so we’ll see how to fix. The #1 John Deere; we have some issue also. So right now it is on trail 19, and did 19E from the clubhouse to the host, 304 Danny (bypass some hill with ice) and we have a hard time to get up to the top of the icy hill; so now, it is on its way to sugar shack, on 301, will do 22,19/22 and comebacks, by 308, back to the clubhouse.1 March, 2023 at 9:00 AM
A little snow falling this morning; good to give some cooling on the slides. The #1 John Deere is still on the trail, on the upper block, doing 19 W, 308, 19/22 and coming back, by 301, sugar shack. So right now; all trails were done in the last 24 hours. Now, the plan is to be on the trails tonight, on lower block 19 E, 310, and 304, Danny’s. Now, the pump for the New Holland is at the dealer in Amqui, Quebec. We are waiting for a fuel pressure sensor switch. Should be in soon.

Well, when it is not working it not working. The new pump on the #1 New Holland failed again, after only 10.5 hrs of grooming; so we are in contact with la COOP matepedia in Amquis Quebec, and its 10 days before we get another pump (on rush), and the #2 John Deere, also failed, today. The engine is cutting out (look like injectors) so today green diamond is closed (family day) so will see tomorrow morning first thing. So right now we did 19 from the host, up to 19/22, and did 308. One unit is in shop New holland at the clubhouse, and the john deere, is in his way slowly to the shop also; we will let you know a.s.a.p., when the good news arrives.

The #1 John Deere will be on the trail tonight, going towards 19 E, also doing 304 and 310 and coming back to the clubhouse. Tomorrow morning both groomers will be on trail 19 (at grant brook) appx. 10 km from the clubhouse, to try to pick the drag that was left on the trail; so be careful in that area. The #2 New Holland will take over on upper block 19 W, 308, 22 and 301, and will be scheduled, 24/7, until we replace the 2 front lag on the #1 John Deere.
